CONSTITUTION: A multi-component draft tube 3 which can be telescopically extended with a handle 1 is attached to the bottom of a fermentor for aerobic micro- organisms. At the initial stage of the cultivation when the level of the cultivation medium is still low, the draft tube is contracted; while as the cultivation proceeds and the level of the medium is raised, the tube is extended above the level of the medium.
