Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a control system for room lamp of vehicle, which is designed such that room lamp is lighted when semeone rides on the vehicle, and the room lamp is turned OFF automatically when the vehicle starts into motion.
CONSTITUTION: When door if driver's seat is opened, door switch 5 is turned ON and relay coils 6, 9 are energized. By the energization of relay coil 6, its contact is turned ON and room lamp 1 is lighted. By the energization of relay coil 9, contact 14 is also closed and cpapcitor 15 is charged, whereby transistor 10 is turned ON. When the door is closed by the driver after getting into the vehicle, door switch 5 is turned OFF and relay contact 14 is also turned OFF. However, transistor 10 continues to be energized by the discharge of capacitor 15, so that room lamp 1 also continues to be lighted. Subsequently, when parking brake is released to start the vehicle, parking switch is turned OFF, and transistor 10 is de-energized, so that transistor 10 is de-energized, and contact 3 is turned OFF, whereby room lamp 1 is turned OFF
