Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a light-weight poisoning resistant denitration catalyst which can be formed into a desired shape, by supporting one or more out of ZrO2, CeO2 and SnO2, one or more out of oxides of Mo, W and Co, and V2O5 on calcium silicate as a base material. CONSTITUTION:One or more out of ZrO2, CeO2 and SnO2, one or more out of MoO3, WO3 and Co2O3, and V2O5 are supported on calcium silicate as a base material to obtain a MOX catalytic reduction catalyst using NH3 as a reducing agent. This catalyst has a structure of formula (XCaOysiO2)a(H2O)b(X)c(MO)d(V2O5)e (where X is ZrO2, CeO2 or SnO2, MO is MoO3, WO3 or Co2O3, x/y is 5/6-2, b/a=0-1, c/a= 1-10, d/a=0.005-1 and e/a=0.0005-0.2).
