Abstract

PURPOSE: To considerably simplify the input operation of harmony part by so constituting the apparatus that chords of main tones and chords, chord codes and harmony patterns are repeatedly inputted in the unit of measures of a suitable time to the harmony part.
CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer 30 converts the input information of music from keyboard and input switches 10 to numerical information and have the same stored in the memory element RAM 33 being its data memory part. The input date therof are processed in a CPU 31 to apply the control signals for driving sound source circuits 70 thru 73 and are controlled by the programs having been stored in the ROM 32. Hence, the number arrays which indiate which number in terms of semi- tones is the scale relation from the main tone of each structural note of the chord codes and what place of the chords assigned by the chord codes is each note of the harmony patterns is assigned and the numerical arrays corresponding to note lengths are stored together with the programs controlling the CPU 31, thus the main notes and chord codes, harmony patterns in units of measures of a suitable time are subsequently inputted to the harmony part, whereby input operations are simplified
