Abstract
PURPOSE:To make possible excitation effective for analytical sample by forming a sample excitation optical system with the two convex lenses opposedly disposed by way of a sample and the reflecting mirrors disposed respectively behind the both lenses. CONSTITUTION:Parallel laser light L is condensed to a point near a focus F and the divergent laser light past the point of focus is made to parallel light by a lens 13 having a focus F and enters a plane mirror 15. The incident angle thereof is extremely small because the condensed point is close to the focus F. The laser light reflected by the plain mirror 15 is condensed at the point slightly deviated from the focus F by the lens 13. The light past the point of focus is made to parallel luminous fluxes by the lens 12 and the luminous fluxes enter the plain mirror 14 and are reflected thereby. The laser light is then condensed again at the point slightly deviated from the focus by the lens 12. At this time, the analytical sample 11 is so disposed as to include the focus F therein and may thus be efficiently excited by the laser light by condensing the laser light always at the focus F and subjecting the same to multiple reflections.
