Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce a fancy board more excellent in solidify through formation of a finer indentation of a substrate by dispersing fine particles including bone material and resin concave sections of the pattern.
CONSTITUTION: A resin undercoating is applied to the surface of a substrate having indentation patterns formed by emboosing or the like by means of a spray, curtain flow coater or the like. While the undercoating is wet, fine particles such as calcium carboxide, silica sand, polystylene, wood flour or short fiber is spread over the entire surface of the substrate to such an extent that they fill concaves up to a depth one-third the difference from the convexes. then, after the undercoating is heated to dry, materials on the concave surfaces removed by a scotch bright, grinder or the like. A final coating is applied to the surface of the board thus coated by means of a spray, curtain flow or the like and heated to dry. Accordingly difference in light reflection between the convex and concave surfaces, accentuates solidify thus improving value of design.
