Abstract
PURPOSE: In producing sintered iron ores, to use as recurburizers to be blended therein active carbons or charcoals in place of cokes thereby to reduce the quantity of NOx generated.
CONSTITUTION: In producing iron sintered ores, waste active carbons or charcoals having a nitrogen content far smaller than that of cokes are used as fuels bleneded in the powders of iron ores. Accordingly, at the time of sintering iron ores the quantity of NOx generated when nitrogen is oxidized is extremely smaller than that of cokes, and hence pollution of the working environements is slight
