Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the phenomenon of high viscosity liquid after the end of dropping, by providing the air tube jetting high pressure air internally passing through the external side of the dropping nozzle, in the dropping unit for high viscosity liquid having dropping nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: The shape of the hopper 1 containing the high viscosity liquid coating material 2 such as liquid silicone rubber is taken wider at the upper and narrow at the lower, and the dropping nozzle 3 is fitted at the lower side. Further, the air tube 6 having the air outlet 7 leading to the nozzle outlet 4 of the nozzle 3 is provided by passing through the external side 5 of the nozzle 3 at the inside of the nozzle 3. With this constitution, pressure is exerted to the coating material 2 with a compressor, allowing to drop the coating material 2 from the nozzle outlet 4 and coating it on the semiconductor element 9. After that, the pressure is removed and the dropping is stopped, and high pressure air is fed in the air tube 6, blowing out it from the tube outlet 7 and cutting off the threading of the coating material 2
