Abstract

PURPOSE: To recover effectively a slovent and a stabilizer included in the solvent, by evacuating the distillation still during distillation by means of a water jet pump connected to a cooling water-tube of a cooler.
CONSTITUTION: When filter medium 25 is clogged after repeated lanundering, the filter medium 25 is vibrated by means of a motor 26 with a valve 24 opened, so that deposit is dropped to a distillation still 6 together with solvent contained in a case 3. Then the deposit and the solvent are heated by passing steam through a steam pipe 8 with a valve 24 closed while water being introduced through a cooling water tube 14 of a cooler 10. Evaporated solvent is cooled and liquefied by the water tube 14 and delivered through a pipe 11 to a water separator 12, refined slovent only being returned to a tank 1. After the solvent contained in the distillation still is evaporated to a certain extent, water is passed through the water jet pump 16 by opening valves 14, 17, with valves 22, 28 closed, so that a liq. storage tank 19, the cooler 10, and the distillation still 6 etc. are evacuated, and the solvent in the still 6 is evaporated completely. After completion of distillation, the solvent contained in the storage tank 19 is delivered to the water separator 12 with the valve 21 opened, and the solvent only is returned to the tank 1
