Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to maintain the constant surface temperature of a roller by providing the lining of wicks within a closed vessel, and providing a heater on the outer circumference of part of a heating roller constructed as comprising a working fluid filled between the vessel wall and the wicks.
CONSTITUTION: Copy paper 11 is fixed while it is passing between heating roller 3 and pressing roller 15.
