CONSTITUTION:A main controller 1 is attached to a room 52a and is supplied with a main power from a plug socket 53a mounted in the room wall. An instrument 48a to be controlled is supplied with electric power from the socket 53a so that power supply is effected or stopped to a load (such as an electronic range 54) in response to the signals which are fed from the main controller 1 through an optical signal transmitting portion 44a. Likewise, the other rooms 52b and 52c are equipped with instrument 48b and 48c so that the power supplies to a stereophonic system 55 and an air conditioner 56 acting as loads are effected and stopped.
