Abstract

PURPOSE: To install an overhead travelling crane even in a housing that has no excess space, by integrally incorporating at least one of said crane and a travelling girder at the housing side for said crane on the ground, and by laying and installing them.
CONSTITUTION: When installing an overhead travelling crane, travelling girder portions 1A, which can freely be mounted and demounted to travelling girders 1 fixedly mounted to a housing, and the crane are integrally incorporated on the ground, the unified body is vertically lifted as shown in the broken line arrow head, and both are connected at locations where the level of the travelling girder portions 1A and the level of said fixedly installed travelling girders 1 agree, thus finishing the installation of the crane. This method can lay and install the overhead travelling crane without particularly being limited by dimension between the walls of an upper surfaces of the travelling girders at the housing side, thus resulting in extermely great contribution on industries.
