Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily conjecture the amount of paying-out distance control ring by providing a load means at the lens barrel so as to vary the rotation force of the distance control ring.
CONSTITUTION: Pin 18 energized by spring 20 in the protruding direction is provided on gear box 8 secured to the fixed ring 6 of telephoto lens barrel 1. Rotatable shaft 4 of the distance control ring 2 is pivotally mounted on the gear box 8. Accordingly, when the distance control ring 2 is rotated, eccentric cam 10 is also rotated, and mobile distance control pinion 12 is rotated, the mobile barrel 16 which holds the lens L1 via rack 14 moves in the direction of the optical axis. When the distance control ring 2 is rotated by a predetermined amount, the eccentric cam 10 impinges on the pin 18 to make the rotation of the ring 2 heavy. Thus, while one is peeping into the camera finder, one can sensibly find out that the shift of the lens L1 reaches more than the predetermined amount
