Abstract
PURPOSE: To shorten the manufacturing process for sheathed heaters by allowing silicone solution to adhere on the inner peripneral surface of a metal tube previously, and applying preheating treatment in succession, and allowing silicone to permeate into heatproof insulating powder and to solidify.
CONSTITUTION: On the inner peripheral surface of a metal tube 1, silicone oil is allowed to adhere previously and dried. Then, a heating wire 3, insulating material 4 such as magnesium, and sealing elements 5 are arranged to constitute a sheathed heater. Silicone is melted through the preheating of the sheathed heater at 200°C at first, and allowed to permeate into the insulating material. At last, after diameter- reducing-processed, the sheathed heater is heated at 400°C to bake silicone, and the heater is completed.
