Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform two-color development processing simultaneously with one processing by development-processing the two-color latent images having been charged to opposite polarities by the use of the carrier having been friction charged to opposite polarities and two-color toners respectively corresponding thereto.
CONSTITUTION: The heterogeneous carriers corresponding to the dissimilar color toners in a vessel 6 have been friction charged to mutually opposite polarities. When these developers are supplied to the latent images which have been formed by charging of opposite polarity potentials in correspondence to the dissimilar color images formed through multi-styli 3 connecting to a pulse generator 4 on the recording medium 2 moving along a grounded drum 1, then the dissimilar color development processing by the heterogeneous developers is simultaneously accomplished satisfactorily. Hence, the entire part of the two-color developing device may be miniaturized.
