Abstract

PURPOSE: In a liquid transfer system equipped with an automatic stop motion having an optical liquid sensing portion on the discharge portion of a discharge hose, to enable said optical liquid sensing portion to operate with a high reliability without subjecting to the influence of external light.
CONSTITUTION: When a motor 5 is operated by handling a switch S, a pumping-up blades 7 are revolved by a shaft 8, and liquid in a liquid tank is pumped up and let flow out into a not-illustarated storage tank through the liquid discharge port 1 of a discharge portion. Thereafter, when a fixed amount of said liquid is let flow out inot said storage tank and liquid surface rises to the tip of said discharge portion 10, said liquid flows in a liquid sensing chamber 11 through an inflow hole 17. When air in said liquid sensing chamber 11 flows out through an inflow hole 19 and said liquid reaches an optical liquid sensing portion 15, a signal is fed to a control signal 4 by means of a not-illustrated lead wire and said motor 5 is stopped. Said sensing portion 15 is provided in the cover 14 difficult to receive the influence of external light.
