Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a room cooler enabled to be operated smoothly even if ambient temperature vaires at a wide range by supplying a sufficient flow of refrigerant with a second supercooling degree adjusting valve opened when condensation pressure lowers.
CONSTITUTION: Upon room cooling, the high-temperature high-pressure gas refrigerant discharged from a compressor 1 is cooled down and liquefied by a blower 3a at an air-side heat-exchanger 3. Next, this liquefied refrigerant reaches a first supercooling degree adjusting valve 7 through a check valve 4b, a liquefied gas heat exchanger 5 and an accummulator 6. Said adjusting valve 7 controls the flow of the duplex refrigerant of a first temperature sensing portion 7a, and said liquefied refrigerant cools water after reaching a water-side heat-exchanger 8. Then, when condensation pressure lowers and a high pressure switch 16 closes due to the rise of ambient temperature, a solenoid valve 10 is opened, refrigerant is reduced in pressure by a resistor 11, and a second temperature sensing portion 9a is cooled down. Then, a second supercooling degree adjusting valve 9 is opened.
