Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve a high-accuracy display unit with reduced number of the display element by varying the display state at the analog display part and the scale display part coupling to each other.
CONSTITUTION: Analog display part A comprises display elements D1WD10, and scale display part B consists of element SLD to display the scale lines plus 7-segment elements SND1WSND7 to dispaly the scale figures. At the same time, the element of part A is driven by the scale of the input signal, and the element of part B are controlled by the control block which generates the signals to vary the states of part A and B in a coupled way forming the display block via the input signal. With application of some contrivance to the strncture of the control block, vorious type of display become possible. For instance, the coarse and minute measurements are carried out by switching, and accordingly part A and B are switched in a coupled way. Thus, the high-accruacy display is ensured with a reduced number of the display element.
