In this case, two write heads 15A, 15B are parallel disposed, after which read heads 16A, 16B are provided by being divided onto the centerlines 23, 24 of the write heads 15A, 15B. Here, if the width of servo track is taken to be 1, the width of one write head is less than 1/2 and the width of the read head becomes additionally smaller than that of the write head.
