Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the protrusion of a final case from the wheels with a file case miniaturized by fitting into the final case into a hollow shaft section provided on the gear case.
CONSTITUTION: This control wheel driving apparatus equipped with a differential shaft supported rotatively with a bearing 6 in an axle housing a gear case 3 fixed to the housing, and a gear shaft 22 held up to a final case which supports a final shaft 30 supporting wheels 45. In such an apparatus, the lower portion of the gear case is so constructed to be a hollow shaft section 21 with which a sleeve section 15 of a file case 5 is rotatively supported through a bush 13 and an oil seal 14. This arrangement makes the bevel gears 21 and 32 smaller in the diameter thereby miniaturizing the final case.
