Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of opening and closing valves, which are used, such as, a magnet valve that is expensive and easily causes accidents, such as, loading by dust, the burning of a coil, etc., and to ensure high reliability.
CONSTITUTION: A temp type automatic expansion valve 7 is used as a pressure reduction expansion mechanism for dehumidification, an opening and closing valve 11 and a pressure reduction expansion mechanism 9 for air-conditioning are mounted in series with a by-path piping 15 for bypassing the expansion valve 7, and when air-conditioning operation an un-evaporated low pressure low temp refrigerant is flown so as to cool a temp sensing portion 8 of said temp type automatic expansion valve 7 for dehumidification. Consequently, said expansion valve 11 for dehumidification is automatically closed, thus changing over air-conditioning operation and dehumidification operation by means of the opening and closing valve 11.
