Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify a structure by constituting a radiant ray source to project radiant ray beam and a radiant ray detector having plural detector elements so that they may perform the linear movement toward the direction practically opposite to each other.
CONSTITUTION: Two radiant ray sources 1a and 1b and two detectors 3a and 3b which are in the position opposite to sources above respectively with detected object interposed are provided, and ray source 1a and detector 3a move on linear orbits 4a and 4b parallel to each other respectively toward the direction opposite to each other while changing the direction due to rotation, and ray source 1b and detector 3b move similarly on another orbits 5a and 5b parallel to each other respectively toward the direction opposite to each other while rotating. Then, on a basis of projection data concerning transmission radiant ray absorption at the limited directional angle obtained by the movement above, the property in the Fourier face is utilized to generate projection data other than projection angles, and data from all directions is practically obtained to constitute a tomogram image again.
