Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for any nozzle and high voltage and enable distinct images to be rationally recorded by applying a special process to the magnetic emulsion composed of magnetic fluid and dispersion medium and the base provided with fine recesses.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic emulsion 1 is contacted to a base 2 which is provided with a multiplicity of recesses, and the magnetic force of a magnet 4 is acted to a part thereof. The magnetic fluid 3 in the emulsion 1 is deviated to the recesses of the base 2. Next, when paper 5 is pushed after the unnecessary portions of the emulsion 1 are removed by tilting the base 2, the fluid 3 transfers to the paper 5, thereby recording the image. If at this time the magnetic force of the magnet 4 is used, the fluid 3 transfers more perfectly. This enables the once recorded information to be repeatedly reproduced in such a case when the line recording of high grade is performed by using the magnetic thin film type magnetic multiheads and the magnetic sheet is used for the base 2.
