Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain one light output out of normal light and extraneous light constant by providing a control part which controls the output of an acoustic-optic filter driving signal or the output of a white light source.
CONSTITUTION: These two diffracted lights are separated by a pinhole plate 21. Of these two diffracted lights, an arbitrary one diffracted light, e.g., normal light 18, is passed through a lens 10 and is entered to the measuring object, e.g., optical fiber 11 to measure its spectrum characteristics. At the same time, with the extraneous light 19 being other diffracted light as a monitor, its electric output is detected by a photo detector 14, after which it is compared with a reference voltage in a differential amplifier 15, the output whereof is then electrically fed back to a driving amplifier 7, whereby the light output of the normal light 18 being the diffracted monochromatic light is controlled.
