Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a compact economical compound switch, by mounting a plurality of circuit breakers in an enclosed container and mounting disconnecting switches in a plurality of support insulator tubes attached to the enclosed container and providing penetrated current transformers around the support insulator tubes and connecting the circuit breakers and the disconnecting switches to respective circuits. CONSTITUTION:This compond switch comprises the enclosed container 10, the support insulator tubes 20, 30A, 30B, 40A, 40B attached to the enclosed container 10, the circuit breakers 4A, 4B mounted in the enclosed container 10, the disconnecting switches 3A, 3B, 6A, 6B mounted in the support insulator tubes 30A, 30B, 40A, 40B and the penetrated current transformers 5A, 5B located around the bottoms of the support insulator tubes. A common bus 2 is connected to the circuits 7A, 7B through the disconnecting switches and the circuit breakers. Therefore, the two circuits are connected to the common bus through the single compound switch. Thereby, the dimensions are reduced. Thus, the compound switch is economical.
