Abstract
PURPOSE: To form an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of copying a 2- color original in one step, by providing on a conductive substrate a photoconductive layer comprising 2 layers, capable of retaining surface potential against corona charging, and having sensitivity to a specified light.
CONSTITUTION: On conductive substrate 11,3W100 μ thick first photoconductive layer 12 is formed comprising a synthetic resin prepared by dispersing amorphous selenium and photoconductive particles, and the like, and having sensitivity to a light of color A (wavelengths longer than 550 nm), and on this, second photoconductive layer 13 is laminated having a 0.1W3 μ thick carrier generating layer consisting of a simple substance of CdS or a resin dispersion of CdS, and a 0.1W30 μ thick carrier transfer layer consisting of an electron donor, such as hexamethylenediamine or 2,5-bis(p-diethylaminophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole, and having sensitivity to a light of color B (wavelengths shorter than 550 nm), but no sensitivity to a light of color A and transmitting it. Thus, a photoreceptor is prepared.
