Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a dust collector to recover heat from waste gas for reutilization as heat energy by providing it with a removable filling layer.
CONSTITUTION: Air sent from a blower 1 into an air blowing furnace 2 is heated and blown into a blast furnace 3 while waste gas from top of the furnace is made to pass through a dust catcher 4 and led into a dry type dust coelector 5 equipped with a movable fillting layer. This dust collector 5 is provided with a cylindrical casing 24 equipped with a leading pipe 14 and the portion where introduced gas is dispersed is equipped with plural filling layers 25. A material inlet 26 and a hopper 20 are provided with a rotary valve 17 and a seal valve 16, respectively, for controlling supply and discharge of filler. The gas leaving the dust collector 5 is separated into plural flows and rotate an expansion turbine 6 to operate a generator.
