Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable modes to be rapidly and readily changed ober without passing stop mode by driving a detection lever and mode changeover lever through making use of a cam gear.
CONSTITUTION: One reciprocating motion of always a stroke S1 is performed between a backward position P1 and a forward position P2 by moving a detection lever 35 in the arrows (a) and (b) directions by overcoming and utilizing a spring 36 by means of a cam gear and changeover lever. At the time when the lever 35 moves backward from the position P2, its stop position is selected by a pair of selection levers 22, 23, whereby the position of the mode changeover pin 60 of the mode changeover lever 58 is set at the playback A, fast feed B and rewinding C. After this, the lever 58 is driven in the arrow C direction by a driving lever 53 to selectively drive respective levers of playback, fast feed and rewinding with the pin 60, whereby changing-over of each mode is accomplished. With the recording mode, the recording-playback changeover switch is set at the recording state at the time of changing over of the playback mode. Thereby, changing-over of each mode may be rapidly and readily performed without passing stop mode.
