Abstract

PURPOSE: To simply detect the leakage of a seal portion, by measuring the pressure of high pressure fluid sealed into an adapter.
CONSTITUTION: A seal portion 6 needing airtight property as a lead portion of a rotor winding of a hydrogen gas cooling turbine generator, an adapter 7 communicated with the seal portion 6, a compressor 9 for sealing high pressure fluid into the adapter 7 and a pressure gauge 1 for measuring the pressure of high pressure fluid are mounted, and the leakage of the seal portion 6 is detected by measuring the variation of pressure of high pressure fluid sealed into the adapter. Such a device can maintain and inspect the seal portion, which causes troubles in conventional devices, for a short time.
