Abstract

PURPOSE: A composite material composition usable as insulating molding material, comprising a polypropylene composition containing a silicate having a two-dimensional structure and a specific antioxidant.
CONSTITUTION: 100 parts by wt. of polypropylene is incorporated with about 5W230 parts by wt. of a silicate, e.g. talc or mica, having a two-dimensional structure and about 0.2W2.5 part by wt. per 100 parts by wt. of the total compaition of an antioxidant to form a compositoin material composition. The antioxidant consists of (a) 1 part by wt. of a phenolic antioxidant, e.g. 2,6-di-tert-cytyl-4- methylphenol (βGHT), and (b) 0.1W1 part by wt. of a surfur antioxidant, e.g. dilauryl thio dipropionate (DLTP).
