Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture a plastic-coated net structure having perfect meshes and eomplete covering free from defects, by inserting a weaved or knit net structure in a mold wherein only the part of net yarn is to be covered with plastics, and injecting a covering plastic material into the mold followed by solidifying thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A weaved or knit net structure made of natural fiber or synthetic fiber is placed under tension into the groves 7 of a mold, and a liquid molding material 6 is poured into the net-like grooves 7 of the mold 5. After pouring, the moldi ng material is solidified by curing, cooling, drying etc., to from the objective net structure. The fineness of the yarn of the net structure is pref. 200-100,000 denier. The molding material for covering the net yarn is, e.g. natural rubber, chloroprene rubber, butyl rubber, polyolefin resin, polyamide resin, polyester resin, etc.
