Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable a grain drying machine to achieve uniform drying operation by eliminating fluctuation of (or variation) dispersing condition between the times when grain is being filled and when the grain is being dried.
CONSTITUTION: An overflow 4 is provided on the middle section of a conveyin g bucket 3 equipped with a conveying screw 2 installed horizontally on the upper part in a grain drying machine 1. This overflow 4 is so designed that when grain is being conveyed in the bucket 3, if the volume exceeded an appropriate conveying volume, the grain naturally flows from this overflow 4 into a grain storage tank 6. In general, while an appropriate conveying volume is determined on the basis of unhulled rice flow at the time when grain is being dried, the overflow 4 can be (or permitted to be) located a little above the flow base line. Dispersing vanes 7 are provided at immediately under an outlet 5 so that grain being conveyed through the bucket 3 falls from the outlet 5 onto the vanes 7 to be evenly (or uniformly) dispersed in the radial direction. In this manner, it becames not necessary for the vanes to be adjusted at the times when grain is being filled into the storage tank and when the grain is being dried.
