Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve cost reduction and flattening of frequency characteristics by perpendicularly mounting continuous conductor foils forming a multiplicity of tubular bodies to a flat plate form diaphragm and using these as voice coils and bobbins thereby forming the electro-dynamic type speaker. CONSTITUTION:Continuous conductor foils 4 are perpendicularly mounted to the back of a diaphragm 1 supported to a frame 3 by way of an edge 2 to form a multiplicity of tubular bodies of nearly the same tubular form. Lead wires 11, 11 are connected to both ends of the conductor foils 4. On the other hand, circular cylindrical magnets 9 having disc form center poles 8 respectively at the ends are provided in the respective recesses of a yoke 5 which is provided on a plate yoke 7 and has a multiplicity of continuous circular recesses. The abovementioned tubular bodies formed of the metal foils 4 are inserted into the gaps between the outside surface of the center poles 8 and the inside surfaces of the abovementioned recesses. The frame 3 is fixed to the circumferential collar part 10 of the yoke 7 to form the electro- dynamic type speaker.
