Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the subject case wherein an engagement part is provided so that a case main body and a cover plate mutually rotatably and axially supported at the side ends can carry out a locating operation at the time of opening and closing, thereby to stably hold the cover plate on the case main body.
CONSTITUTION: The case main body 6 is formed into a rectangular thin box which is made of a synthetic resin and whose upper surface and one side surface are opened, and the cover plate 1 is formed by folding one end of a synthetic resin plate in a substantially U-shape, and a power feeder accommodating part 4 is formed in a space thus formed. Both ends in the longitudinal direction of the accommodating part 4 are closed by end surface plates 14, and a shaft 5 is provided at the center of each of end surface plates 14. This shaft 5 is fitted into a shaft hole 5 provided at the leading ends of side pieces 7 positioned at both ends of the side surface opening of the case main body 6 thereby to pivotally support the cover plate 1 in the case main body 6. At a place of the end surface plate 14 around the circumference of the shaft 5 there are projected projections 9 lower than the height of the shaft 5. Said projections 9 are fitted into concavities 10 provided in a mutually spaced apart relationship by 90 degrees at the inner surface of the side piece 7 at the peripheral edge of the shaft hole 8, thereby to carry out positioning and holding of the cover plate 4.
