Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce distance between brush and voltage regulator by forming the brush holder with a recess capable of holding the voltage redulator therein.
CONSTITUTION: A brush holder 1 carries two brushes 4a and 4b. The brush holder 1 is formed with a rectangular recess 5 downwardly extending from the top and having parallel long sides extending in the direction of arrangement of the two brushes. In the recess 5, a voltage regulator 6 is accommodated and secured thereto by a resin 7. The voltage regulator 6 comprises a substrate 7 and heat ring 8 integral with each other, and it contains a generator voltage regulation semiconductor and connected to a pig tail 10 and a brush mount 11 via respective leads 9a and 9b.
