Abstract
PURPOSE: In the way of positive welding process, negatively switching circuits are installed at proper spacing to provide cleaning action to a welding material such as Al thereby effecting an economical high-quality TIG welding.
CONSTITUTION: In a controller 30, a pulse from a pulse generating circuit 11 is inputted into a counter, which produces a timing pulse. The timing pulse signal and the pulse signal are sent through an AND NOT circuit 13 and a logical NOT circuit 14 to a power source switching device 12 for a welder. Switches X9, X10 cooperate to effect switching from a bias power source 9 to a reverse-direction power source 10. An AND circuit 15 does or does not output depending on the timing pulse being off or on, respectively. The AND circuit output is regarded as an input signal for the transistor 3, so when the timing pulse is on, no current is supplied from main power source.
