Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent falling sand from scattering and to collect it into a shoot by providing on a driving shaft scattering prevention plates which arrest sand falling when V-buckets are turned.
CONSTITUTION: Conveyor chain loop 7 is wound around sprockets 4 on the driving side and sprockets 6 on the driven side. Chain 7 is fitted with buckets 8. A plurality of scattering prevention plates 9 are provided in the middle section of driving shaft 2 sandwiched by sprockets 4 of both sides, namely, below the place where V-buckets 8 pass. As V-buckets are trasported along sprockets 8 on the driving side, they are gradually inclined and turned, and sand falling below is recieved by scattering prevention plates 9 placed in a radial pattern on the outer circumferences of driving shaft 2. Then, it falls into shoot 10.
