Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniatureze the construction of supporting members and achieve the improvement in positioning accuracy by integrally constituting the supporting members supporting each end part of a fixing roller pair without dividing the same to two parts.
CONSTITUTION: Upper and lower fixing rollers 1, 2 which are mutually pressure contacted are supported by right and left supporting members A, B at the respective end parts. These supporting members are made in an integral construction of approximately C shape, wherein the upper part 8 and lower part 8a and a columnar connecting part 9 positioned between these upper and lower parts are constituted as one part and the receiving faces 10, 10a of the rollers extending in semi-circular form are formed to the upper part 8 and lower part 8a. These receiving faces are formed in groove form being stepped to the outside circumferential faces 11, 11a of the upper and lower parts 8, 8a. The rollers 1, 2 are controlled of the movement in their logitudinal direction by said step parts. By making use of the deflection of the connecting part in this way, the construction of the supporting members may be miniaturized and positioning accuracy may be enhanced.
