Abstract

PURPOSE:A spindle and jig are lifted up by air pressure and they are transferred to the lateral side by comparatively small force for effecting the quick exchange operation. CONSTITUTION:For exchanging an exchanging spindle head 7 the bridge is installed between a stock table and a plain surface 35 and the connection of both driving shaft and driven shaft is released by the operation of an operation lever 24. Then, a pin is inserted from fixed surface 11 by the operation of a lever 16 and the positioning of the spindle head 7 is released. By doing so, the pressed air is supplied from the compressor to a groove 32 of a craft plate 31 through the hose and the pressed air is jeted from the groove 32 to the upper part of the plain surface 35. By the pressure of air the spindle head 7 is ketp lifting quite a bit from the plain surface 35 and then an eccentric cam type crank lever 13 is released to transfer the spindle head 7 laterally through the upper part of a side table 5 and transfer to the stock table for effecting the exchanging operation.
