CONSTITUTION:In the liquid crystal cell wherein dichromatic dyes are used as color forming means, plural liquid crystal layers added with dichromatic dyes showing different hues are integrated to multilayers. In this multilayer multicolor display liquid crystal cell, the information concerning the time, e.g., 10 o'clock, 10 minutes and 30 seconds are divided to the hour, minute, second, etc. like 10 hours, 10 minutes, 35 seconds, which are then discretely display, layer by layer, by an hour display pattern 5, minute display pattern 6 and second display pattern 7. Hence, the time integrated by the entire part of each layer is pseudo-analogically displayed by the geometrical shape patterns of the isolated, specified transparent electrodes in two or more colors.
