Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable flat temperature characteristics to be obtained and realize super high accuracy watch of several seconds of annual difference by performing temperature compensation by the use of two piezoelectric oscillators having respective positive and negative secondary temperature coefficients. CONSTITUTION:Outputs of a piezoelectric oscillator 1 containing a piezoelectric vibrator la having a negative secondary temperature coefficient and a piezoelectric vibrator 1a having a negative secondary temperature coefficient and a piezoelectric oscillator 2 containing a piezoelectric vibrator 2a having a positive secondary temperature coefficient are both inputted to a beat circuit 31, by which the frequency difference thereof is obtained. The output of the beat circuit 31 enters the T input of the T type flip-flop F1 in a temperature compensation pulse forming circuit 32, where it is divided down to 1/2. This input then enters a pulse rise detection circuit 3d, and the fine pulse is outputted from the rise detection circuit 3d at the rise of the pulse. This is then passed to a pulse interruption circuit 33, then a constant accurate output is inputted to a frequency diving circuit 4 irrespective of temperature by the temperature compensation circuit 3 combining the beat circuit 31, temperature com pensation pulse forming circuit 32 and pulse interruption circuit 33.
