PURPOSE: To automatically measure the resistances of circular resistors and achieve the saving of manpower by continuously conveying the circular resistors having arc from resistors on circular substrates to the resistance measuring apparatus and controlling a resistance measuring instrument and photo detecting part as well as a measuring head driving part, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Circular resistors 1 which have been sent in one row by falling down between a right guide rail 15 and a left guide rail 16 are prevented from falling down by a lower shutter 18 and are fixed to a stator 22 by means of a fixing cylinder 21. At this time, whether the electrodes 3, 4 of the circular resistor 1 and two resistance measuring terminals 10 are in the corresponding positions is detected by letting the light from three projectors 23 be received in a photo detector 25 and detecting the levels of the photo detecting outputs thereof.
