Abstract

PURPOSE: A curable resin composition capable of forming films having improved resistance to hot water, wear, and heat, weatheraiblity, and adhesiveness to plastics, comprising a specific alkoxysilane and a specified vinyl monomer.
CONSTITUTION: An epoxy group - containing alkoxysilane of formula I or II: (R1, R2, and R3 are alkoxy groups; R4 is 1W6C alkylene group) is incorporated with 1W50 wt. % of an epoxy group - containing vinyl compound of formula III, IV or V: (X is H or methyl group; Y is alkylene group). 50W90 parts by wt. of the mixture thus obtained is mixed with 50W10 parts by wt. of a vinyl group - containing alkoxysilane of formula VI or VII and 0.01W3 wt.% based on the composition of a ring opening polymerization catalyst to give a curable resin composition.
EFFECT: Cured film on a resin molded articles having a high transparency improves the surface properties without degrading optical properties.
