Abstract

PURPOSE: A nylon salt is added to a polyamide containing fiberglass or inorganic fillers to improve the fluidity on molding and give molded products with good surfaces.
CONSTITUTION: To 100 parts by wt of a polyamide containing fiberglass and/or inorganic filler are admixed 0.1W5 parts of a nylon salt. The nylon salt is, e.g., prepared by mixing equimolar amounts of dicarboxylic acid and diamine in the form of aqeous or alcoholic solution, e.g., ethylene-diammonium adipate, hexamethylene adipate, or m-xylylenediammonium adipate. The inorganic filler has preferably particle sizes of less than 80 microns and it is, e.g., talc, caolinite, silica, or calcium carbonate.
