Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the protecting function of over differential pressures by making the outside diameter size of an auxiliary diaphragm larger than the outside diameter size of first, second pressure receiving diaphragms.
CONSTITUTION: The outside diameter of an auxiliary diaphragm 51 which is inserted between first, second casings 43, 44 to hermetically form first, second auxiliary chambers 52, 53 is formed larger than the outside diameter of first, second pressure receiving diaphragms 13, 14 forming first, second pressure receiving chambers 15, 16. Then, when the differential pressure acting upon the first, second pressure receiving diaphragms 13, 14 exceeds a specified measurement range, the auxiliary diaphragm 51 displaces independently from the measuring diaphragm 31 and the capacities of the first, second diaphragms 13, 14 are absorbed by the slight displacement thereof. Hence, the protection function of over differential pressures is surely performed and the selection of modulus of rigidity of the auxiliary diaphragm 51 is made easy.
