Abstract

PURPOSE: To protective mask, enable to intercept harmfull light at the time of welding, by arranging plural liquid crystal apparatus in a part of seeing through window and lowering the transmission factor shutting off supplying voltage at the time of welding and then, increasing the transmission factor supplying voltage at another operating time.
CONSTITUTION: The filter F is arranged piled up plural liquid crystal apparatus 1 on the seeing through window of the mask main body 6. When no welding light is detected by the photosenstive sensor 12, oscillation output is put in the apparatus 1 and the transmission factor is increased, because input voltage of the NOR gate 14 is substantially zero. When welding light is generated, the transmission factor of the apparatus 1 is decreased and harmfull light is intercepted, because input voltage of the NOR gate 14 is made E and oscillation is stopped and then, outputs of the NOR gate 19, 20 are made zero. Also, detailed welding operation is able to carry out by selectively enabling to turn current on one of the plural apparatus 1.
