Abstract
PURPOSE:To use color television to improve the reliability of monitoring. CONSTITUTION:A color television set 3 and a chromatic light intensity detector 4 are connected to a color televsion camera 2 disposed opposite a burner 1. The burner flame image signal photographed by the color televsion camera 2 is displayed on the color television set 3 for visual monitoring while the image signal is applied also to the chromic light intensity detector 4 where the burner flame is displayed by red, blue and green dots of corresponding intensities. A comparator 6 compares the intensity of the respective color dots with the respective standard light intensity signals given by a reference signal generator 5 and judge the condition of the burner flame if it is normal or abnormal. The result of the judgement is indicated by lamps or a buzzer. Thus the condition of the burner flame being indicated accurately by three primary colors, reliable flame monitoring is attained.
