PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption and to prevent the time display from becoming thinner and the watch from being stopped by generating alarm drive signals different from normal ones when a temperature detecting circuit a lower temperature than a preset level. CONSTITUTION:In case a temperature detecting circuit 11 generates an ''L'' level, in case the temperature detected by a temperature sensor R0 is higher than 0 deg.C, and an ''H'' level when the detected temperature is lower than 0 deg.C. Now, in case the temperature is higher than 0 deg.C, the output of a gate G4 takes the ''L'' level, whereas the output of the gate G5 takes the values Q3 and Q12, and the output of a gate G6 takes the values Q3 and Q12.
