Abstract

PURPOSE: To synthesize rapidly and easily several pictures by combinationally using a special effect unit which functions to expand, contract and move a picture, chroma-key unit and video amplifier.
CONSTITUTION: The output of camera 1 which has picture-taken person 2 is supplied to mixing amplifier 8 via switcher 5. From picture file 4 stored with sample pictures of clothes and background pictures, a sample picture signal of clothes, for exmaple, is supplied to mixing amplifier 8 by way of special effect unit 6 and video processor 7. Although mixing amplifier 8 synthesizes these two input pictures, a gate signal from line chroma-key unit 9 allows the picture of the person to mix only with the part of the clothes picture. The sizes and relative positions of those pictures can be adjusted by operating special effect unit 6 through operation panel 12 over a look at video monitor 11.
