Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent engenderment of yellowish flame or soot as well as to prevent air superfluity in the course to extinction by diminishing blast gain to a burner less than normal combustion time prior to it instantly with interruption of feeding liquid fuel into a porous material.
CONSTITUTION: Air for combustion to sent air from an air blower 9 is fed through an air feeding passage 8 into an air chamber 5. Provision of a damper 11 rotated by a rotary axle 10 at the outlet port of the air feeding passage 8 is followed by fixing an operating knob 20 at one extremity of the rotary axle 10 and a cam 21 to operate a switch 22 at the other extremity so as to be able to adjust correlative positional relationship with the damper 11. At the time of extinction, with turning the operating knob 20, the damper 11 is set to be turned until it comes to the extinguishing position past entire closure. When it comes to the entire closure in its course, the cam 21 sets the switch 22 off to interrupt fuel feeding.
